About Teresa

Hello. I have worked in senior care for over four years through an agency and approximately three years independently. The last two years were spent with a wonderful lady who was on hospice the whole time with liver cancer. Her and I developed a wonderful bond from the first day. Her and her family were wonderful to work for. She became one of my best friends. She lost her battle with cancer over a year ago. Her level of care started at a low level and progressed to intensive care over time. I worked in well with her team of hospice nurses, CNA's, etc. I provided back up support for her husband to help take some of the load off of him by helping with laundry, meal preparation, phone assistance, light housekeeping, dishes, greeting family members, etc. I learned to be flexible to meet the needs of the client and her husband. I miss my dear friend and would like to have the opportunity to bond with another client. I have assisted several other clients as well with various other medical conditions. I also provide services such as transportation, errands, bathing assistance and dressing, medication reminders, etc. My goal is to assist with whatever need there is. I am a trustworthy, detailed, and caring individual. For the last ten months, I have been babysitting infants and toddlers as well.

I've been a care giver for about 6 years now although I learned to care for people at an early age. I took care of my 90 year old grandmother at the age of 14, I also took care of my mom for as long as I can remember. My mother always told me I was so caring and kind an that's why everyone always called on me. I've always just simply loved and truly enjoy helping others in any kind of way. I am currently a care giver and I have professional training. I will help with feed/cooking, medication, bathing, mobility, and any other daily activities.

Hi! I'm Samantha (Sam) I like to think I'm a pretty friendly, nice, outgoing person I enjoy Making people laugh and feel happy = better witch is 1 of the reason why I got into to home health reason 2 is knowing what it's like being in a hospital it's not fun or comfortable which is why I loved the idea of home health you can get The assistance you need without feeling like you can't be you. I have been professionally care giving for almost a year now and non-professionally care giving for about 8 years my mother and father have both been disabled since I was 10 So caring for people is kinda second nature to me currently I take care of my disabled mother but she dose have another provider if I am unable to care for her due to schedule conflicts. Caring for someone and taking care of someone are two different things and I would like to do both If you are looking for help or assistance I'm more than willing I'm wanting!
