July 2016 I sat with Murray Ash in Leeds AL until he passed away in January 2017. I started on an hourly work week which quickly changed to 24-7. I worked 5 to 7 days a week 24-7. Mr. Ash had several health issues and my daily routines consisted of several things. I helped him get a shower and ready for the day as well as bedtime. I also assisted with taking him to the restroom. I checked his blood pressure and oxygen daily. I chec ked his sugar four times a day and gave insulin accordingly. He used his oxygen machine frequently. At night he used a c-pap with oxygen. I gave him his medications daily. I helped with daily incontinence issues. I did light housekeeping and cooking. I worked with the hospice staff closely and provided them with the information they needed. I also stayed with him when he was sick in the hospital day and nights till he went back home. 2006 I sat with Charles Huffstutler in Leeds AL. until he passed away in 2016. I started working just weekends and then nights and then afternoon shifts as the need progressed. Mr. Huffstutler had several health issues and was confined to motorized wheel chair, his chair and bed. He could move with gait belt assistance as he could only stand not walk. I cooked and did light housekeeping. I picked up medicine took him to Dr. Appoint ments when needed. I give daily medications. I checked his sugar twice a day and gave insulin shots. I checked his blood pressure twice a day. Assisted with baths and dressing for the day and as well for bedtime. I also assisted with taking him to the restroom. I helped with daily incontinence issues when needed. I also stayed with him when he was sick in the hospital day and nights till he went back home.
