I was raised up caring for people beginning in my own family. At the nudging of my mother, I became an LVN in 1985. After the passing of my father, I neglected to keep my LVN license current but remained in the field of caring. I enjoy helping others accomplish their day as well as family members observing positive change in a homebound loved one. I have a long history in caring which include but not limited to, psych care, dementia, hearing and vision impairment, physical disabilities and so on. I take my work seriously and respect individuals for who they are as well as what they may be going through.

What attracted me to this field as a young girl I was raised by my grandparents and my grandfather had a major stroke and he had to learn everything all over and @ the age of 12 I told him we would get threw this so I told my grandmother to schedule every therapy after school in which she did so everything they did I wrote down and practice with him the days and weekends they did not come and also speech therapy so this what got me into care giving. I took care of him as well as my grandmother so to me this is why things comes so natural for me in this area of work. If you would like references I can provide during interview.

It all stared when I was 13 years old my grandmother had dementia. I hope take care of her during this summer, and came back every weekend to be with her.. I love a challenge. I love people. I've been doing home health care on and off for the last 10 years.

I started my career in 1993 by attending a State licensed class and being state certified to work as such. I've worked with Hospice,Alzheimer's, dementia, diabetes, strokes, obesity, bed bound clients such a paraplegic and quadriplegic, ALS clients, PTSD clients, schizophrenia clients, post surgical and more. I offer help with ADLs, showers, bed baths, exercise, meal preparation, vital sign checks, medication reminders, doctor appointments, and more.
