I am a very positive, kind, and outgoing person who looks forward to helping out those who need it. I love the excitement and happiness I bring residents each and every day! It reminds me of why I am a CNA. It is a great feeling knowing that I am making other people's days. I am very proud that I have been a CNA for over 3 years and I have recently applied to nursing school at Western Technical College!

I have been a caregiver for individuals of every age making me confident in working with anyone. I am very outgoing and love socialization, but also very hardworking and dedicated to my tasks. I was most interested in becoming a caregiver after babysitting for a family with a child with special needs as well as assisting my mother in her home care nursing position. My favorite part about being a caregiver is the ability to help others and make their lives easier. A personal achievement I am proud of is maintaining my GPA at Dean's list standard throughout Nursing school along with through a pandemic.

I have been doing this type of work for about 2 years now, but have been helping take care of my dad since I was 12. I am a very caring and compassionate person who loves to help others in anyway that I can. What attracted me to being a caregiver was the satisfaction of helping people and making them laugh. The things I enjoy about being a caregiver the most is seeing how happy people can get and making that special bond with the person.

I started to watch my parents and their friend's age. I could see the need for people who had patience, kindness, and the calling to work in a challenging and rewarding field. I was ready to make a difference in people's lives as well as to make a difference in my life. I enjoy the one on one interaction with the clients. I ask myself " How can I bring some joy into this person's life today?" "What can I do to give support and comfort?" I try to think of how I would want my parent's cared for. I have 25 years of care giving, 5 with seniors. I am trained and have worked with hospice, MS, Stroke, ALS, physical and developmental disabilities, autism and Alzheimer's. I do all aspects of daily care; cooking, cleaning, bathing, transferring patients, running errands and driving to doctor's appointments. I am currently a licensed CNA, I am certified in Heart Health CPR, Health Care First Aid, Blood Path and Oxygen. and I have attended seminars on Alzheimer's and Dementia at Brenau College in Gainesville GA. I very much enjoy what I do. I feel that I bring patience, kindness, and a cheerful attitude to work each day. All of my paperwork is up to date, TB test, back ground check, driving record and education information if needed. I am also willing to travel. I can provide excellent references. My mother passed away at the age of 67 from dimentia and renal failure I took care of her in my home for 3 years until it got to the point of me needing help that was my first real encounter with caregivers. You worry about the choices you make in caregivers because you want to know your family is being taken care of property. My mother is what inspired me to be a caregiver and the reason I am good at my job is because everyone I Care for is my mother.

I'm a very loving and compassionate man, married with 3 children, i took care of my Grandmother for about 9 years till she passed away, i have had great paying factory jobs after my grandma passed away and my passion wasn't in it and thats when i knew that i was a legit caregiver. I take pride in my work and always willing to learn. I took very great care of my Grandmother and those who i take care of now. My current job would definitely recommend me, i offer excellent service to 16 residents and i can only imagine what i have learned over the years what i can offer to one or a smaller group of people. Also Caregiving doesn't feel like a job to me,it's what's needed.

Hello, I am 21 years old and about to enter grad school to be an occupational therapist. I have worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for the last 2 years. I have experience with a variety of disabilities, including dementia, MS, Parkinson's, Autism and many more. I am also BLS (Health Care life support) certified.

I am very good with people, I get a long with everyone. I have about 8 years of experience working with MS to autism. I have private clients that i can not put on my resume they did not want me to, I have worked with them for 6 years now i would like to keep working with them. I took a job working at chileda in la crosse they handle autism and aggressive kids after working their for a year i fell in love with the job and wanted to work with a wide variety of people. I enjoy making sure they have the best life and day to day care its what it is all about going above and beyond. I am very proud of a client after about 6 months of working with him and the other staff he was able to get back in to a walker which he was very proud of and so were we even after his care team would not do physical therapy or pay for it.
