Hi, I am a hard working and compassionate person inside and outside of my job. I would like to take a brief moment and explain what drove me to be a caregiver. When I was 16 my grandfather was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. I took care of his needs each day until his final day. I realized that I wanted to help other people who were similar to my grandfather. Although this is bitter sweet, I began working as a CNA in December of 2019 and haven't stopped. I enjoy the aspect of giving people the care they need as well as supporting their family emotionally. I like to ensure that I do my job fully and to the best of my ability. I have worked in long term care facilities as well as working independently doing 1x1 home visits. I would love to take care of your loved ones!

I became a caregiver in 2005 not sure of what this job as in store for me. I started the CNA job just so I could get a job anywhere I go. Not knowing that I would meet some wonderful people a long the way. From my residents to my co-workers I have learned that being a caregiver is what I like best about my life. I love taking care of the elderly, they have shown me a lot through the years, I have had some really great people stay with while they have departed the earth. I like to see my residents do a lot of things on their own, with little to no help. To keep their independency, because not only will they tell you that they can do it on their own, they will do things on their own inspite of what you say. I like to think that my residents are my on family, in time they do become my family. The elderly that I have taken care of have made me who I am today. Not only am I their for them I am also there for their family as well, to give them a peace of mind to ensure them they are getting good quality care from me.

* I ama very outgoing and understanding person. * I have always loved taking care of other people and I took care of my grandpa until he passed away. * I enjoy meeting new people and getting to know my clients and there family and friends. * I have never been fired by a client and I have never stolen anything from my clients. I do not take gifts or anything from my clients. If they hand my there debit card to go to the store I always have them make a list and I get a receipt for what I picked up.

I enjoy helping people in need, I wanted to become a caregiver because I've experienced people I love struggle with nobody to help them. I'm not a very good cook but I love to clean, And I'm willing to help!

Hello, I am Stephen and I absolutely love my time spend with the older generation. I enjoy spending hours talking and getting to know my clients. Since I was in my 20's I have loved going to the nursing facilities and visiting with the elderly. Caring for the elderly is my passion. Someday it will be my full time business. For the last nine years I worked for one client and she became my best friend, she and I had spent so much time together. She has moved forward to her heavenly home now. I can do just about anything, I have a degree as a nurse assistant, CPR certified, TB free certified, I have had lots of nursing classes, thought I wanted to be and RN, but it just is not the right fit for me, I like a more personal sitting. I can cook, clean, visit, handyman jobs and just visit. I am honest and strait forward. I have the references and background check to prove it.
