What makes me a great caregiver I will say that I really care about people I tried to listen to what their needs and wants are and try to provide them with the best of my ability. I'm a caring loving person I believe in treating people the way you want to be treated, I became a caregiver when I was 13 years old taking care of my grandmother and her friends that was Eastern star members. I would go to their homes and prepare their food and take out the garbage and clean their homes in the summertime I found a lot of joy in helping them. The most thing that I enjoy about being caregiver is being there for someone that really needs me, listening to their stories, providing the care that they need. It gave me great joy to know that I am need it and want it. My personal achievement is to start my own group homes for the homeless, for the children, and for the seniors, and for the mentally ill. I want to see if community their work together stays together I think everyone needs each other to make this world a better place to live .

I Am Trustworthy And Dependable Love My Ministry Comforting Others While Helping And Caring For Others Not Knowing That I Would Be Taking Care Of My Husband Who Was Diagnose With Bone Cancer I Was His Hospice CNA For All Most Two Years At Home He Was Grateful That I Had The Experience And So Was I This Is Truly A Gift From God To Be Able To Meet And Work With So Many Wonderful People I Also Have References To Prove My History Of Work I Have Been In The Field As A C.N.A For 32 yrs. And I Am Glad To Say I Am Not Burn Out Or Tired Of My Ministry Caring For Others. It Was Truly A Honor To Be My Husband Personal Hospice C.N.A Before He Passed I Often Would Hear Him Telling Family Members And Friends How He Was Proud And Glad He To Have Me As His Care Giver Knowing What To Do For Him And Making It Easy For Him To Be Home Also Northwestern Hospice Register Nurse Along With Their Team Was Very Please With The Care For My Husband That I Was Able To Give Him It Was A Joy Full Of Precious Memories My Experience Is Working Hospital, Nursing Home, Private Duty, Live In-Live Out,Hospice, Setter Cases 32yrs Of Service.

I graduated from Rasmussen college with my diploma in medical assisting in April of 2021, covid had hit and I decided I didn't want to be in the doctors office, rather one on one with a client in caregiving. Single mom of a teenager Started caregiving 6 years ago The people I have met has made me a stronger person and I love what I do, love the variety of people I have met , but in this job you have to be very patient and know how to deal with a lot of challenges and behaviors, are jobs aren't easy and you have to deal with stressful situations and know how to deal with them , every year we have to take are annual Training and refresher courses, my main specialty is Dementia and Alzheimer's disease, but that's why I love my job to help people and sometimes they need to someone to talk too, or just a shoulder to cry on, being a single parent makes me stronger in doing my job and know I have someone to live for and help older clients in there daily lives and endeavors.

I am very patient and gentle,I always adapt to new situation and condition. I am not a perfect being but I love to learn and I accept corrections . I am humble, respectful and trustworthy. I have been a caregiver for 3years now and still counting it has been interesting for me doing this job and I feel amazingly joyful helping seniors. I enjoy the fact that most seniors I have worked for have never given a bad report about me and the smile and comfort they show when I work with them.
