I have been doing this kind of job for over 8 years I love taking care of people and talk with them and also I get attached with my clients I make them laugh and I want them to feel comfortable . And what I enjoyed about a caregiver it feels like I'm carrying like there my own grandparents .

Hello, I am a cheerful, positive respectful person with good work ethics that is interested in helping others by showing them consideration, kindness and a sense of hope. I have experienced the loss of my mother to two horrible illnesses, pulmonary fibrosis and dementia. I watched my older sister become my mothers fulltime caregiver, and learned that everything done with tender love, care , and grace helps not only the patient, but also gives peace and comfort to those closest to them. Knowing that my mother was well taken care of gave me a big sense of peace and helped me enjoy her last moments knowing that she had the best care she could of ever had. With that being said, after much thought on how I can honor my mothers memory, I have decided that caring for someone else's loved one will give me joy and a sense of being a help to someone that needs it just like my mother did.

I first became a caregiver when my mother was sick with Lymphoma. I love to cook and clean and have a heart for helping people in need, so caregiving became the perfect job for me. I am patient and understanding and take great pride in encouraging and helping people reach their potential for a more comfortable day to day living. I also have experience working with clients with cognitive disabilities and other mental health illness.

Nursing as an RN for 17 years. Had several back surgeries and retired in 2012 and now wish to return to work as a senior care provider. My nursing specialty was in geriatrics the elderly. Enjoy being around seniors listening to their stories and helping them with their personal care and their home cleaning needs. Willing to work weekdays weekends and holidays. I have reliable transportation and a clean driving record as well as a clean background check, and am willing to transport clients to doctor appointments and grocery store needs. I'm 21 years old, and a have two year old daughter. Started cna work in 2016 had all my class and training and floor hours at the faculty I worked at. Left work when I had my daughter and am just now looking for work again. I enjoy being a caregiver. It's nice to feel like your doing something good for someone.

I've always been told that I smile too much. I'm really proud that I smile too much because it brightens up my patients day. Sometimes they need to see a smile to know everything is going to be ok. I love being a caregiver because I get to help someone. it brings me joy to know that I'm helping someone who appreciates it. Working in both hospitals and nursing centers has shown me two different worlds to healthcare. I have really learned a lot from both. I've learned to noticed signs a lot sooner when something is going on with a patient/resident. I've learned to read people a lot faster on who they are or how they like things done. It really does make a difference when you know what to look for. That's why I wanted to be a caregiver and eventually make my way to becoming a Registered Nurse.
