I have good people skills, good communication skills, always ready to listen to feedback and I consider myself to be very punctual. I'm patient and I'm always willing to learn something new and a fast learner. Growing up my younger brother was born disabled leaving him in almost a complete vegetative state. Due to this I grew up helping to take care of him and it allowed something to grow onto me and inspired me to help more people. I also have had to take care of my great grandmother for several weeks at a time when she would fall ill. What I enjoy most about being able to care for others is seeing how much it makes things easier for the disabled or elderly. They are people just like me and I hope to inspire others one day and spread positivity with helping others, because one day I'll be at that age and hope there's still good people out there who are willing to help others for their own fulfillment. A personal achievement of mine that I'm proud of is making the qualifications to apply for a radiologic technologist college program and be accepted in it. I think that is something I'll always be proud of. I hope to accomplish even more in the future.

I am a mother to 2 sons and 2 daughters that challenge me on a daily basis. That being said I have the abilities of caring, loving, understanding but most of all compassion for all of my clients. What most attracted me to this line of work is my mother. She knew the heart I had for caring for others and she led me into the nursing home as a Nurse's Aide. I absolutely loved every part of my job, until I noticed those above me just wanted a pay day and didn't care for their patients like did. I knew I wanted to do so much more that's why I got myself into being a home care provider. I enjoy putting smiles on my clients faces, making them feel safe and interacting with them. My personal achievement would be being able to care for my mother throughout her renal failure years and being able to care for her after receiving a kidney.

Throughout the 14 years that I have been a caregiver, I have noticed that being kind and patient has helped me be a great caregiver. The main reason that attracted me to being a caregiver was the mindset of always wanting to help the elderly in any way possible. One thing that I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is the opportunity of getting to bond/provide companionship to my clients.
