I've been in retail, management, business owner, but found my passion as a caregiver. I've taken care of Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, stroke patients, congested heart failure patients, etc. My client's become my family and love what I do as a private caregiver. I have references, certificates, and letters of recommendation. It gives me great satisfaction in taking care of new clients in the area and proud of what I do!

I'm an easy going person who gets along with all personalities. I truly enjoy being a caregiver especially when it is 1:1 and you get to give the individual your full attention. I became a CNA in 2010 and worked as one until 2016 when I became a Registered Nurse. I am continuing with prn nursing along with caregiving. The thing I enjoy most about providing care to others is the fact that I am able to help families who may be struggling. I value promoting quality of life to those I assist. I pride myself in the care I provide. I have the ability to turn a difficult patient/situation into a workable and fulfilling experience. I had a wonderful experience while working in a client's home as PCW. This client had a massive stroke, she was paralyzed on her L side. She also exhibited challenging behaviors. My 1st day I sat with her and remained quiet. I told her I was respecting her need for a calm environment and that I wanted her to lead in any conversation. Her family reported to my supervisor that evening that this client was very calm that evening, she ate dinner and went to bed without any challenges. They were extremely pleased with the care I provided. I love being a caregiver. I have come to realize that I thrive best in a 1:1 relationship with clients in their homes. I enjoy providing companionship while assisting with housework, shopping or going to appointments. The best part is in getting to know one another and hearing their stories of their youthful days. I bring compassion and empathy from all of my life experiences to each new encounter. I also will not leave a home if a client is experiencing an emotional or other medical setback. I wouldn't be able to relax if I felt I should've stayed with that person until family or other caregiver could replace me.

Hi there. I have been doing care giving for over 8 years. Whatever task I am assigned to do, I always make sure I give it my 100%. What attracted me to do in home care giving was the thought of helping someone that needed it, and the variety that goes along with it. I absolutely love to house clean, and I would say that is my number 1 stand out job of mine, I have received many compliments about my house cleaning. Something I am very proud of. My personal achievement has been earning The Vision Award from a previous employer, which I have hanging on my wall. I have done Personal Care Work also for over 8 years, so all around, I have plenty of experience. I look forward to continue to use these skills of mine to further help out someone in their home and to make sure they are happy and well taken care of.

Hello! I've been a caregiver for the past 5, almost 6 years. I enjoy helping others and ensuring they are well taken care of. Which is why I will be going to school as a nurse. I am very patient and understanding, I will not rush others, and will always make sure they are safe. I enjoy taking care of individuals in their home because it's more one-on-one, that way I can make sure that person is getting the care they need. It's also nice to be able to go out and do things with the person if they are able to as well.
