Hello! I have decided to continuing being a caregiver after I took care of my grandmother for sometime before she pass away. I was thirteen years of age. she inspire me to take this route in my life after high school. I wanted to reach out and help people that can't fully help themselves. I enjoy helping the elderly and young ones too that needs assistant for daily activities. I love being a caregiver in so many ways like; socializing with them, being there for them when their family aren't. I feel like I'm their second family. Helping them trying to get back to their normal routine life is an achievement to me, seeing them getting the ability to do things independently it makes me very proud. I use to work two jobs. 1). Norwoodpines alzheimers care center and 2). College oak nursing and rehabilitation. I use to do this for at least 9 yrs and finally stopped. My mother passed away last year 2013. I was sad that she had passed away and i wasn't able to take care of her. It really hit me hard and it made me more passionate towards what i do. I have four beautiful kids and i sometime take them to visit my job. The look on people's face is priceless and when i bring my kids for a vist. I really love what I do and happy to be a part of this nursing caregiver life..thank you very much!! Hope you will like my little blog and can't wait to further it somewhere bigger.
