My core competencies as an experience Certified Nursing Assistant is to work closely with nurses and medical staff to ensure that a patient is receiving basic care on a daily basis. Some of these duties include bathing, feeding and dressing patients. I also make bed and takes note of any changes in the physical or emotional state of a patient, and assisting them with getting out of bed, walking and taken vital signs, such as respiration rate, temperature and blood pressure, when needed.
