I became a caregiver because I got burnt out with the administrative world. The office environment has changed drastically, from no fresh air to being tied to a computer and having to log off a computer to facilitate the restrooms. I like being a caregiver because I care about people. Especially people who aren't able to take care of themselves. Everybody needs a helping hand at times, some more than others. Being a caregiver allows me to help others. Make new friends, and make a difference in life. I've made lots of friends, and made them feel special. I've made most of my new friends feel like they are somebody important in this world and that they were put here for a reason. I like making people laugh and see them smile (especially when they see me) that makes me feel special. I'm currently employed with AccentCare Home Care, and am looking for clients to service during the week.
