I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping people and making a difference in peoples life. I enjoy the emotional rewards of helping someone. I am proud that I have been a Certified Caregiver and Certified Nursing Assistant for more than 15 years and have helped Seniors stay in their homes and enjoy being independent. I am an honest, upbeat positive person, dependable, punctual, compassionate and loving. I am experienced in all aspects of geriatric care because of my extensive work history and training in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, home health care agencies and private families . My clients have had paraplegia, quadriplegia, strokes, dementia, congestive heart failure, open heart surgery, MS, Parkinson's, food allergies, diabetes, amputees, hip replacements, diabetics, colostomy care, catheter care, disabled in wheel chairs and bed bound. I have also helped the elderly and disabled who just needed in homecare, transportation to appointments, medication management and housekeeping and a little TLC. I treat all my clients if they were my family members. I also help taking care of their pets. I am college educated, a non-smoker and can pass a drug test. I have an Arizona finger print clearance card that shows I have passed a criminal background test, a 5-year DMV print out with no traffic violations, a current CPR and First Aide course and a Negative TB test card. ... more
