CPR/AED/First-Aid Certified through the National CPR Foundation My love for people in need of help with functional daily tasks is the fuel that drives my work. I graduated with degrees in both Exercise Science and Psychology. I am also a Yoga Instructor of 11 years now, Personal Trainer, and I also offer therapeutic Thai Massage. Care-giving is a part of my family and has been a natural niche for me for years as my 72 year old grandmother is still an active caregiver. My father who has been disabled for 10 years has been my main patient and has always encouraged my studies in the health care field as he once worked in the ICU and studied Sports Medicine. I enjoy holding a space for others that provides them comfort and enables them to be themselves and feel genuinely cared for. I understand the shifts that can occur internally when one experiences the loss of a loved one, side effects of aging, or the limitations of chronic pain and find that I empathize and feel so much compassion for these people. Making their home enjoyable, taking them to do fun things like a nearby park or nice scenic drive and simply getting them through their days is my focus as I see how positive it is to keep clients minds stimulated while helping to improve their quality of life. I have experience with memory care, cancer patients, and multiple sclerosis patients.
