I have already had a background check that I can provide. I was raised with my grandparents and just loved them. I was basically around elders which were my grandparent's friends and relatives. My grandmother became I'll and I took care of her in the hospital until she passed on. I always felt that I related more with elders than I did with anyone else enjoying listening to stories and about their lives. Myself and my 2 daughters volunteered at an assisted living facility in Glendale. When I go on vacations to Idaho I stay at an assisted living facility visiting a dear friend. I always hang out in the front lobby enjoying everyone's company and would help with their dogs taking them out to go to the bathroom and for walks. I really enjoy dogs and cats.
I have worked as a Cardiac Medical Assistant and Stress Treadmill Technician for 22 years. My passion is dealing with seniors and their families to help make life a little easier for everyone. Working with Seniors in a home setting was a natural next step for me. I am a kind, caring person and love this type of work which makes it a joy to help others! I have a reliable SUV and am able to help in any capacity. I am a certified medical assistant with a current CPR certificate and advanced medical knowledge from all my years in Cardiology. I look forward to meeting you!
I believe a caregiver should be compassionate and always have patience. I truly believe a good caregiver does not consider taking care of others as a job but a passion. I took care of my grandfather for 7 years and I worked for a wonderful couple for 16 months. I plan on completing nursing school but right now I am really enjoying being a caregiver. I love being around people and I think you can learn so much from others. Being a caregiver is a gift!!
1. To help people who need assistance, and gain their independence again. 2. I get to meet people of all ages, and learn from them how to take care of myself, as well as communicate better to individuals from all walks of life. 3. A personal achievement I am proud of is never give up on projects that are challenging or overwhelming to me. 4. I have been a Certified Nurse Assistant for over 20-years. I am a very caring, devoted, hard worker, that will reach and drive the distance to extend my help to everyone that call, or meet me in our daily life.
