The Caring House
The facility is a 100 bed facility, two 20 bed long term care units , 15 bed sub acute unit, 5 bed hospice unit, 20 bed dementia unit (10 male & 10 female) and an "Adult Daycare". I have worked in all areas within the facility, caring for patients with a variety of healthcare needs: stroke, MVA patients, cancer patients, quadriplegic patients, HIV patients... just to name a few. I have done vital signs, ADLs, assist with toileting including B&B (bowel and bladder) training, meals, patient transfers: Sara Lift, Hoyer Lift, assistance with gait belt, accompany patients to Dr. appointments, showering/bed baths, assisted with wound care, assist RN & LPN as needed, provided companionship.
