I was a CNA, have my caregiver certificate, CPR and first aide, fingerprint clearance card, an up to date on my TB. I have been in this line of buisness for over 20 years. I have worked with quads, paraplegics, elderly, children, dementia, cancer patient, burn victims, behaviral patients, sun downers, bed bound, Parkinson's, etc. I can use a hoyer, stand by assist, pivot transfer. Wherever I worked I was always asked to lift the heaviest. They say that when I do it, it looks easy. I tell them it is just how you use your body. I have done companionship, errands, personal care, wound care, housekeeping, etc. I have worked in hospitals, nursing homes, day care for the elderly, assisted living and my favorite is home care. I have worked all kinds of shifts. I'm reliable and trustworthy. Thanks in advance. I get along well with people. I'm a very compassionate person. I like to make people laugh. I always go above and beyond of what is asked for. 2 families I have been with for 2 and a half years now!! There are caregivers and there is caregivers with a heart. I consider I'm the second one. I'm always up to date on cpr and first aide and my TB.
