I'm a mother of 5 and grandmother to 10. I've worked as a caregiver for the last 15+ years and counting. I love my clients and working with the elderly. What started out as a job became second nature and probably alot of that has to do with my cultural background. I loved it so much, I paid for my own training and certifications to be an independent caregiver. I got bonded, insured and registered with the state and I have several great references from the loving families of those whom I have cared for over the years. I've had great experiences with those who I have worked for and with, along with learning from wonderful nurses and doctors that I've interacted with during the care of many of my clients. I am very proud of the achievements I've made in taking the initiative to learn as I go with each client, and each client came with various conditions and ailments, and some with multiple conditions. It has been a great journey of growth and connection for me like no other and I find it so fulfilling to be able to help our elderly population in need. They have been all like family.

The primary services experience includes the following: * Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items * Medication reminders and appointment reminders * Performing light housekeeping tasks * Washing and ironing laundry * Accompanying clients to appointments * Assisting with bathing * Assisting with grooming * Assisting with toileting and incontinence issues * Providing companionship and conversation * Providing stabilization and assistance with walking * Running errands As assigned performing other reasonable duties which contributes to positive living environment and enhance a client's quality of life.
