I became a caregiver when my mom was in an accident and she needed me. I love taking care of people and lifting their spirits, and completing their wants and needs. I am a very compationate person and people like me. My greatest accomplishment is raising my son to be a good man, and he has the same guality traits as I do !!
I became a caregiver because I got burnt out with the administrative world. The office environment has changed drastically, from no fresh air to being tied to a computer and having to log off a computer to facilitate the restrooms. I like being a caregiver because I care about people. Especially people who aren't able to take care of themselves. Everybody needs a helping hand at times, some more than others. Being a caregiver allows me to help others. Make new friends, and make a difference in life. I've made lots of friends, and made them feel special. I've made most of my new friends feel like they are somebody important in this world and that they were put here for a reason. I like making people laugh and see them smile (especially when they see me) that makes me feel special. I'm currently employed with AccentCare Home Care, and am looking for clients to service during the week. So give me a call, I would love to hear from you and see if we can get you the service you need to make life a bit easier for you. God Bless and thank you. Deidre' Sloss

I currently have my cna license. I have yet to find a job as a cna but hope to obtain one through you. The day I decided to go down this career path was when I worked as a server at St. Josephs hospital. I wasn't ever new to the environmental setting. Before I worked at the hospital I also worked as a server in a rehabilitation center in sun city. What made everything click for me at the hospital, was I already had the guts for this kind of job. Unfortunately when I was nearly weeks away from obtaining my cna license, the hospital was downsizing. In my struggle to find a job I found myself working at a homeless shelter called Cass. There are many nursing students that go down and give there services. I spoke with the nursing instructor and I went on to enroll myself into Phoenix college. With my hopes and hard work of becoming a nurse, I hope to work as a cna to gain experience as well as a sufficient amount of income to help pay for my education.
I am very compassionate to old and sick people treating them as if they are my parents. I am conversant and act funny in some other ways to make my residents laugh or smile because it is very satisfying to see them happy. The job demands a lot of patience and hard work but it also requires love of doing it because you will be compensated well if you are able and efficient in doing your job. If you do your job with passion and love then the sense of fulfillment makes you enjoy being a caregiver. My greatest personal achievements as a caregiver when I received a lots of "thank you" from the families and their feeling of gratitude for caring their love ones.
I'm a great caregiver because I truly care for the elderly and I enjoy helping others who need help. I like caregiving because it makes me feel good knowing that I can put a smile on my folks faces. I am a certified caregiver and been caring for the elderly 6 years now but before that I was working with young adults with special needs and also caring for kids in a daycare center that I also managed. You will be very happy wirh my work if you choose me for your caregiver
