I think because I'm a great listener my residents have told me this also the way I treat them with love and respect. I enjoy hearing their stories about their life and family, taking care of them seeing their smiling faces. My mother is the reason I became a caregiver she started a Adult Care Home in 1994. Mom needed someone to help her with the business and she chose me the eldest of us three. So she put me through school and we stared the business. We got eight ladies to take care of it was wonderful, but after five years my mom passed away. I couldn't continue with out my mom. So we sold the business it was so sad. What I am proud of, is that I'm a very good care giver my mom taught me very well.
