If you're looking for help then this is probably a very stressful time for you and/or your loved one. There is major transition going on -- and some of it might not be welcome. I want to add to your ease, decrease your burden, make this transition easier. You're looking for someone to entrust yourself or your loved one with. You probably want someone you can depend on, who's on time, reliable, conscientious, experienced, dedicated, professional, competent. I am. And I imagine you also want someone who has "soft-skills": intuitive, compassionate, deep listener, empathetic, honest, considerate, patient. That's me too. Put them together and that means you or your loved one will receive care from someone who can hold compassionate space, listen deeply, respond to needs, anticipate what's needed, while also providing competently for health and daily tasks. In addition, I respect the people I work with and talk to them as adults and people, not as incompetent, invisible or childlike. It's a lovely dance to find the balance of inter/dependent, and try not to figuratively "step on toes" finding it. I am a certified Holistic Healthcare Practitioner, which means I can often share healthy advice, while also working within the parameters of your current medical team. With me, you or your loved one is in excellent hands, combined with a compassionate heart, and a bright mind.

I have always had a deep compassion for people and did volunteer work for San Diego Hospice before becoming a caregiver in 2009. I am one of 7 siblings and in 2009 took on the responsibility of overseeing the care of my elderly father. I became a caregiver to better understand his needs and he passed away in my home after 3 years. I have deeply connected with clients and their families over the years and have been asked to be with the client as they passed away because their family knew and appreciated how connected we had become. I have been with a meditation center for 20 years which also helped me to connect to clients.
