I am a 36 year seasoned Respiratory Therapist and have 10 years prior as a nurse's assistant. I began my career in healthcare at age 17. I graduated early from high school to go to Respiratory School. During that time I worked a Village Green Nursing Home as NA. I graduated Long Medical Institute in 1982. I worked full time at a Community Hospital while attending college at Grand Canyon University. I graduated Magna Cum La De with Bachelor in Science in 1989. I continued my career in Respiratory working with Adult and childern. In1992, I relocated to Balitmore Maryland to work at a Childerns Hosptial. Where I served as Supervisor for 3 years. My experience ranged from all ages, and stages of life. I have 46 years of bedside experience. My passion to help began as a child pretending to be a nurse or doctor. We moved next door a lady that had COPD and Her daughter I were best friends. I watched her take her last breath I was inspire by the healthcare workers at the time and knew I wanted to be Respiratory Therapist.
