I became a cna in 1997 and continued my desired position for 12 yrs ranging from convalescent homes to Lindsay and Sierra hospitals then my last employer was private in home that's where I realized I was my happiest, the friendship and bond you create is so much more then just helping someone out and going on your way, I bonded and made a friend along the way which was good for all parties involved. I have been a stay at home mom and wife for the past 2-3 yrs now since I lost my friend due to the battle but I am eager to help another in need and possibly make a new friend.

I have lot of patience and I am outgoing. When I notice something is bothering the patient I right away try to figure out what is bothering them. What attracts me to be a caregiver is that I want to help out those that need help now, since they help raise their own children or they did all they could to help others out and now it our turn to help them out. What I enjoy the most is that I get to learn new things from them. Also, I enjoy when am appreciated by the family and when they let me know that there loves ones look good and that are being good taken care of. Personal achievement that I am proud of is that I been doing CNA work for 3 years now.

As the eldest sibling, nurturing comes naturally to me. I have been in health care since college but it wasnt until a family member was in need of a care provider that I discovered my purpose in the medical field. Since then, I have continued my education for the last 10 years and in return have gained excellant skills in senior care, specialty care, palliative care, hospice/end of life care. My ability in providing superior care goes in hand with developing a strong relationship with my clients that know they can depend and trust the care and services I provide. As an empath, I tend to know how other feels & have empty. I see caregiving is a must due to the fact that one day I'll myself will need it as well as everyone else. I've achieved a lot within my years and is very proud of being a mother to my 4 kids, that two of my oldest has already graduated high school & is attending college. Proud to say that I've made my life to what it is today!.

I am very forth right, I take pride in giving hope and making tomorrow a brighter day for my clients. No job is to big or overwhelming for me to tackle. I am very protective and very loving. I am fast and efficient in emergency situations, I do not freeze or panic in my clients time of needs. I enjoy taking my clients out for activities and trips( no one can excel staying in a chair all day) Dr appointments, grocery shopping, puzzles, crafts and activities keep the mind sharp and on point. That's what I strive for[?] Whatever is important to my client becomes important to me and I will remember all of those dates and address them accordingly.. No house work is too much for me.. if they have a project they would like to do we will get it done one way or the other.. cooking is not a problem. Also am very familiar with thickened liquids and Pureed meals. Whatever they may need I am at their disposal.

Hello, My name is MaKayla McCoy. I'm a personable, detail oriented, hardworker. I have an excellent work ethic and I'm a motivated self starter.

I feel like caregiving was something I was born to do. I enjoy getting to know new people and help them with the tasks they need help with. I find satisfaction in caregiving because it feels great knowing I'm helping someone take care of there loved one. I was raised by a family member that was a CNA and she taught me to be loving and caring to others. I have worked with Individuals that display outburst behavior. I have been working with individuals that are mentally disabled for 3 years and that has taught me to be patient and kind. Being able to help families that need help really makes me feel like I'm doing a job that is really important and makes me want to always do the best job I can do for others and there loved ones.

I have always been naturally caring. It was in 2010 when I felt the calling. 2011 I went to school to get my CNA license. I took care of my daughter who was undergoing treatment at the time. In 2013 I officially used my license at a local rehab facility. It was hard to leave my patients at the rehab facility who I had became close to and loved. 2015 I started to work at Sierra View where I floated to multiple departments. During that time I gain a better knowledge of how to take care and treat my patients. I and now looking to help a family in need to take care of their love one.
