My name is Genee Hudson Purnell. I have been a caregiver for over 12 years. I became a certified nursing asstiant when I was 19 and could never imagine me doing anything else. I have numerouse different levels in education and knowledge when it comes to taking care of the elderly. I currently hold all state of Maryland certification as well as cpr/first aide certification. I believe what makes me stand out from any other care giver is my smile, my compassion, my dedication and the love that I have for being a nursing assistant.

I am a great caregiver because my job is not just a job I care for my clients like family I put my heart into my care. Don't. Take that the wrong way I stay in my lane I just love my clients I always get great clients, I also became a caregiver because my grandmother got sick my family wanted to put her in a nursing home I refused to let that happen I would go to school and come home and take care of my grandmother at age 16 I just have a gift for caring for the elderly . We all will be old one day so just treat them the way u want someone to treat u when you are older.

Well I really don't like boasting or bragging on myself so I can tell you first and foremost being a Christian helps me work on myself daily. I possess patience kindness caring and most of all I'm a thoughtful giver. Helping people elderly or otherwise is a strong asset of mine. My father was in a nursing home and when I saw the poor car he was being given, I decided I had to make a difference. I enjoy helping people and making them feel good from where they are in their mobility physical mental or otherwise. I'm proud that I was able to keep my 99 year old client mobile and strong. He was 96 when I started working fir him. I had taken care of his wife prior from day one. She had a stroke and was bed bound the 8 months she was here and the family asked for me when their dad needed care. I was so proud of him. I have phone numbers that all I have stated can be confirmed if needed.

Loving caring female who loves the elderly and helping them out and giving them someone to listen to their wonderful stories! I can cook, bath, clean, administer prescriptions , shop, any thing you need I'm capable of! Just want to make you feel comfortable and love making people laugh!

I am great at a caregiver because I have patience and like to listen what people have to say. I do this kind of work because I enjoy helping others and at the end of the day I know that person is happy. My achievement has been when my clients tell me that they are happy that I am the one that work with them.

I am proud that after many years even after obtaining my CNA , I went back to get my G.E.D, to further my education and begin college in the near future.
