I am a reliable, organized, friend caregiver who loves taking care of my clients as my own keeping them safe and secure at all times. I am determined to get things done on a timely manner. I am currently in Nursing school and I am a patient care technician.

I'm great at being a caregiver due to the fact I ALWAYS treat my patient as if they're my mom or dad!! I'm the type of person that's very personable I love people and I love helping others. I worked at St Vincent hospital as a patient safety assistance I kept my patients safe I assisted them with restroom duties, feeding, walking, I played games with them watched television I became their companion. I've worked with people with all types of elements even hospice, ages from infants to 104 years of age. I also work with the seniors at my church. I'm a very nurturing person. I love to make others laugh and smile, I've been called an angel by some. I have an 88 year old mother so dealing with the elderly is something that I have mastered by experience. Also I'm a CNA

I assist with activities of daily living . Geriatric care and palliative care is my passion. I love the wisdom that they share and being able to help others and make a difference in someone's life in their time of need. I have references upon request. I am a southern cook at heart. I have taken health and nutrition and know the importance of diet and nutrition. I was a hospice volunteer for two years. I promise take care of all my patients with love and compassion.

I became a caregiver simply because it is my heart. Helping the ones that needs just a little bit of help to make their lives a little easier. Joys of seeing the appreciation even when it's not said. Being able to have someone's trust to care for them properly no matter what they're dealing with. My personal achievement would be my son. Raising, learning and grooming him into the man he is today. Hello I'm Sarah and I have been involved in Home Health Care for about 10yrs now I got into the profession after taking care of my father before he passed away and during that time I realized I love caring for the elderly it's more of a compassion for me I consider myself very passionate to my clients and tend to get close with them and treat them as if they were my own family I know how I would want someone to care for my family member and that's with great care and the upmost respect.

A few years ago, my brother was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma cancer. He refused to go into hospice because he wanted to be home with family. Unfortunately, I was the only family left to be with. However, I made it my goal to make him as comfortable as I could for the remainder of his time with me. At the end of the day, it was one of the most heart breaking experiences to watch him suffer and see him pass. Although, I wouldn't change any of it for the world! I was able to give him the peace he wanted. We laughed, hugged, stayed up all night long reminiscing. I loved every bit of it, my heart was satisfied knowing that he spent his last days happy. At home, in his own room, with family instead of nurses and that's okay with me.

I became a caregiver when my grandmother got sick with lung and brain cancer. I moved in with her to take care of her. I love being a caregiver because I've always loved helping people. I've been that way since I was very small. I like knowing that I helped someone feel a little more comfortable with growing older or losing their independence. I know it's hard to face for most of us. I just want to make a difference in their lives by helping. I love being a companion and spending time with people.
