My 13 yrs experience as a caregiver. I enjoy helping elderly/disabled adults to be able to stay independent, healthy and happy. Took care of my parents and friends family that made me have a passion to help others. Realized alot of people are alone, depressed and refuse to seek help. Offered my assistance to Dr. Appts, pick up medication, encourage clients to take meds, eat, do activities, offer companionship, meal prep etc. Desired to help make a difference in other people's lives. I grew up with a huge family, my mother was a Foster care provider, my dad was a Chief Fireman, I am the youngest of 8children, I grew up watching my mom take care of handicapped children my entire life, I always loved seeing how happy it made her to be able to help someone, even if it were just by giving that child love, I've grown to follow her footsteps and I just love being able to help someone if I can, even if can't make them better health wise, I can help them feel better emotionally, everyone deserves the BEST CARE POSSIBLE, that's why I love doing this job!
