I became a caregiver as a child growing into adulthood. I always cared for the grandparents within family and friends as well as children for family and friends. I opened my home to assist and old friends mother who needed a place to stay after her stroke while her daughter remodeled her home to be wheel chair accessible. After that I took in a child I was caring for who had down syndrome while her grandmother relocated to Oklahoma and got established in which she then came back and picked her up to take her out there with her.

I am proud of myself by helping this one family with their sister who is totally incapacitated. But I got her out to family gathering like to the park, zoo and so on. I love to see a smile on her face every day I work with her so when I move away it hurt me so bad but I still keep in touch with her and the family. Well I am looking for and evening shift like from 3pm to 9pm Monday through Friday due to I work in the morning.
