Why I Became Caregiver : Well First off I'm a very caring person and I absolutely love to help those in need of help. I knew I wanted to be caregiver at about 14 I began to be my grandmother's caregiver .... After finding out she had breast cancer , two strokes and Congestive Heat failure .... Doctors told us she only had six months to live and that she needed 24hr care .... Me and my aunt took shift turns I would go to school on the day and caregiver by night while my aunt worked ... I cooked ,cleaned,bathed ect. Now 8yrs later my grandmothers is still here alive and better than ever. I helped her so now I strive to help others. What do I like about being a caregiver : Just the fact of being able to help someone who needs help puts me in joyful spirits. I really love being a helping hand. What is a personal achievement you are proud of : Making a difference in others lives is the makes me proud every day. Tell us something about yourself: I'm 21 I've been a certified caregiver for 2yrs now since 2013 . I've been working as caregiver since 1week after being certified. I have done everything from home healthcare to hospice , rehabilitation , nursing homes. I'm single with no kids reliable transportation. Just over all im a very down to earth easy going young lady who's loves to help others.

I became a caregiver because I grew up going to the nursing homes that my mother worked at and I loved it! It just seemed the natural choice for me. It give me a great sense of pride to be able to improve the quality of life for my clients. I am proud of my educational achievements as well as all of the knowledge that I've obtained through experience. I am confident in my abilities to provide the best care for my clients. I am married with 3 children. I have been working in healthcare for the majority of the last 20 years. I have extensive education & experience with caring for the elderly in their home. I have provided care for those that simply need a companion to those that require complicated medical or hospice care.

I became a caregiver because I love to take care of elderly people to make there days conforable and to spend time with them and feed them and give them lots of love so that they know they are not forgotten but yet very important to me.
