Hello, My name is Shirlessa. I am 30 years of age and have been a caregiver since 2003. I found interest in this field because my mother was diagnosed with bone, breast, and liver cancer. Due to this illness, the prognosis became terminal and required plenty of at home care. As a family we stuck together and welcomed the challenges as it progressed and took its course. I learned the upmost meaning of compassion and caring for someone full time. As a result, my care for others grew, my medical knowledge grew, and I began helping all kinds of clients. I understand it can be a challenge on a family, and that's why I am a perfect applicant for any transition.
