What makes me a great caregiver is that I am very responsible, dependable and work my best to make the one I am taking care of feel special and happy every day I care for them. What attracted me to becoming a Caregiver was that I was needing a job since I had just moved back to my hometown and filled out an application with Kelly Girls, an agency that hired people for different jobs. I was called to care for an 80 year + lady and enjoyed it. It was not what I went to College for, but continued to do both working in Administrative work and then part-time as a Caregiver. The thing that I enjoy most about being a Caregiver is the stories of those I care for. There is so much history that they have to share...even those from different parts of the Country and learning how different things were from then to now. My Mother was born in the Depression years and experienced the years of WWII, where 3 of her brothers were part of. It's the elderly who helped build the life around us and them being nurtured by their parents to give us a better tomorrow. I believe the most personal achievement I can say I am proud of is that I was taught good work ethics by my Mom, who was a farm girl. I started working at age 11 and have worked many different types of work and am a fast learner. I paid for my own College and worked at times 2 jobs to pay for my own apartment. In the Caregiving field, I have been taught some things that a Nurse is qualified for, but taught by the family of their loved one how to do certain tasks. I am very respectful of people and their property.

This has been a Passion for me, since before I've gotten into the Healthcare field, i was taking care of my Grandmother before she Passed, i love what i do. which is to be able to help , love , care, and support other's like as my family.

I BECAME A CAREGIVER IN 2000 I HAVE ALWAYS HAD THAT PASSION FOR HELPING THE ELDERLY IF IT WAS FROM OPENING THE DOOR FOR THEM,THEIR GROCERIES,FINDING ITEMS IN THE GROCERIES FOR THEM,HELPING THEM TO THEIR CAR ETC.JUST KNOWING THAT I HAVE HELPED SOMEONE MAKE THEIR DAY A LITTLE EASIER AN THE APPRECIATION FROM IT.... WHAT I ENJOY MOST IS BEING NEEDED BY SOMEONE WHO NEEDS IT THE MOST I LEARN SOMETHING EVERY SINGLE DAY WHICH IS A PLUS,THE SMILES,THE FEELING OF COMFORTING SOMEONE EVERYDAY IS A BIG PLUS...... MY PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT FOR ME I FEEL IS BEING A DIE HARD,CARING,COMPASSIONATE,PATIENT,PERSISTENT,CAREGIVER FOR 18YEARS AN STILL GOING WITH THE UPMOST RESPECT FOR THE ELDERLY..... THANK YOU

I'm a very caring person always on time/ I love taking care of others I never thought I will be in this field but when I started in 1997 I really enjoy taking care of those of all walks of life

Hardworking focused is to give proper attention and care to every individual i take care of.. Helped with bathing, dressing, teeth brushing and diapering to promote healthy personal hygiene and good oral health. Administered medication to Clients for various conditions, including [CPR] and [CPI] and kept watchful eye for side effects. Notified housekeeping staff and maintenance personnel of guest room issues, including [Damage] and Safety] for immediate resolution.

I feel I'm a great caregiver because I love what I do. I take care of my clients as I would want my family take care of. I really enjoy helping others life's be as normal and enjoyable as possible. I became a caregiver many years ago. Taking care of mentally and physically challenged individuals. In a group Home setting. After leaving this field of work I just felt like something was missing. Now that I'm back I know I was missing the joy of helping others. I have taken care of family. And others for many years. I have experience with all ages. I have achieved a lot in life from raising my son on my own to watching him grow in to a great father. I'm proud that I have achieved many things in my life. I have no regrets. And I'm still living life to its fullest.

I have worked in alot of homes in as total caregiver including group homes for disabled adults with 3 clients in each home as a DSP CERTIFIED/CNA/CPR/GTUBE CARE& feeding, flushing lifting transferring clients 1one1 or any style lifts bathing in private shower or shower bed certified 18years CNA 5yrs DSP W CPR

I BECAME A CAREGIVER BECAUSE I ENJOY TAKING CARE OF PEOPLE WHO IS NOT SO FORTUNATE TO DO SO FOR THEIR SELVES
