I've been a caregiver for 10 yrs I love being able to help make a person feel safe and comfortable in their home I'm a great companion listening and I have lots of energy to make a bad day a good one ima proud of the fact that every client I've ever had loves me because I come with love and compassion when I enter and work in their home I have experience in it all it's nothing I can't do

I was raised by grandparents and that motivated to volunteer and teaching old people to read and write as I wanted them to have the opportunity to understand better it feels good being in control of your life and understanding what's going on so I wanted to give that to old people

My personality is very bubbly and caring. I always go out of my way to assure my clients feel secure and safe in my care. I love to learn and very eager to sharpen my skills. I aim to please. What really attracted me to becoming a caregiver was watching my mom day by day leave every morning in her fancy scrubs to go save the world. It was like my personal super hero and I always wanted to be just like her. The most enjoyable part about my job is knowing I'm making a change for someone else's life. I'm the reason things are a lot easier and smoother and to me that's the biggest reward. I would have to say my personal achievement would be my daughter. She is the reason I get up every day and go to work. She is my biggest motivation and she watches everything I do. I wouldn't change my occupation for nothing. Being a CNA is a very big reward

I knew ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to care for others. I absolutely love caring for others. I'm looking to further my education in the Nursing field. I have 22 years experience with caring for others with Cancer, Dementia, Diabetes and Stroke patients, that's just to name a few. I do meal preparations, bathing, light housework and running errands. Basically whatever is needed of me. I have experience with the Hoyer Lift and Transfer board. I have my CPR and First Aid and also I'm a Certified Medicine Technician. I have successfully completed a training program and state examination at Morning Star Academy-School of Allied Health in Rockville, MD in 2012. Outside of homecare, my hobbies include taking care of my 3 yo son, practicing special effects makeup, painting and drawing. Previously, I worked in long-term care facilities located in Virginia. I have been working in homecare consistently since 2015. My experience in homecare has been rewarding and less stressful.
