I have great empathy and compassion for the elderly. They can teach us so much! I'm proud of being a helpful hand when someone needs it. I had a man who was suffering from dementia and a septic toe that ultimately took his life... but I would sing to him and it would calm him down. He passed in my arms. I'll never forget him.
