Hi my name is Tracy, I'm a Mama of 2 and Nana of four. I became a caregiver many years ago and actually found out that this type of work was perfect for me and since then I have worked in nursing home, retirement home and took care of many, many clients in their homes. I am suitable for this type of work because I am a people person, especially the elderly, It makes my day to go in a home and at least get one smile out of a client but thru e to get laughs and many smile out of them. I go into a home and that is my number one priority is to make an everlasting impression by showing care and love from the bottom of my heart. I just recently spent a few years taking care of my father in law until he sadly passed away in November, And I'm not going to fib that was a challenge because eventually he had to have 24)7 care and we gave out home up and moved in with him, not to mention at the time was raising 3 small grandkids full time. But I would do it all over again without any hesitation. We had many wonderful memories with him that will last a lifetime.... And now being that I love to talk and do not like staying at home all day by myself I'm ready to help care for your lioved one. And now that I personally had to care for a family member I know first hand you need a break so let me help you with that.

I am reliable and have a firm understanding of how important reliability is to those expecting you to be there when you say and do what you say. I have worked as a Social Worker in health care for many years and have the ability to assess a home environment and see where the needs are to assist adequately and make helpful recommendations to promote independence. My husband has his own business and I help to manage that business but miss being able to work with others. I think it is fulfilling when you have the ability to assist someone and make their day just a little easier. I enjoy seeing the transformation on an individuals face when you arrive to help with their needs and they seem worn out and discouraged but after you have helped them, listened to what they had to say, and validated them by doing things their way then you see them energized and smiling. That is the most rewarding feeling. I have several personal achievements that I am proud of I went to college and have a Bachelor's degree and did that while raising children, I have helped my granddaughter achieve her goals to go to college and become a nurse, and I have had a successful happy marriage for 31 years now.

I am a very patient caring and compassionate person.I've been a Caregiver/CNA for 14yrs. I became a caregiver after helping take of my grandmother and my mother when she was battling Cancer. I enjoy my time with my patients and knowing that I'm helping and making a difference in their life. I am proud of completing my CNA training 14 yrs ago and also completing my Administrative medical Assistant last yea.

why i'm a great care giver because I have a heart for it, an a great compassion for caring for people. an when I do something I do it right, I like being a caregiving because I can show my love and caring for others n giving the care and respect that patients deserve. I also want to be a caregiving because I lost my daughter last year and I have a lot of love to give away an when I do a job I do it right. What are your personality traits or expertise that help you be a great caregiver? I've always had a big heart when it comes to helping others, I believe empathy/compassion is very important, especially when it comes to the medical field. What attracted you to being a caregiver? I had a lot of health issues growing up and was constantly going to the Dr's for checkups. I learned so much from my Dr's/Nurses, that's when my love for my medical field started. They had such a great impact on my life and still do to this day. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? I love getting to know my patient/family, i've learned a lot from them. I want to be able to care for them the way I want to be cared for if I should need care one day. The feeling of helping someone and potential saving someones life is so rewarding. It feels great to do something positive with my time. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? As a caregiver, i've had many proud and rewarding moments with my patients. I was the first to graduate in my family and go to college. Getting my CNA/Med Tech right out of high school has been really rewarding in many ways. Just being a helpful hand to patients and they're families is the best feeling.

I am an upbeat, hard working individual. Very attuned to the needs and emotions of others. Flexible and can easily adapt to a new environment or situation. Patience and kindness are things I make sure to express in my interactions with others. I hope to bring joy and laughter into the lives of those I touch.
