Personally I feel I do more than just look after and attend to my patients needs. I nurture, and foster a bond that makes them almost a part of my family and feel closer to their family. My name is Toni I will just dive right in I had a son who battled cancer from the age of 12-18 he unfortunately lost his battle I struggled a great deal and still do but he also made me realize that taking care of people is what I want to do so that's when I became a caregiver and when I lived in Indiana I became a CNA doing this is not just a job for me it's a passion for me doing what I do is what I'm most proud of and I feel my son would be proud also.

I am a very calm, outgoing, kindhearted, caring, & give able person when it comes to this field. I am 19 years old with 3 year experienced Personal Care Assistant. I started Personal Care at a young age helping and taking care of my Grandparents. I enjoy caregiving because I like to help other people with any type of disability's. I enjoy being able to make my clients feel safe and happy. A personal achievement I am proud of is working with all types of disabilities and sickness with a positive attitude this makes me more experienced with my nursing experience.

To me my calling and purpose on earth is to be a support to individuals who need support even if it's just companionship. I love helping others when they need it. I have been in the home health care field for about 10 years and this is what I love to do. I am currently going to school for my Bachelor's degree because one day I want to open up my own home for a group home for individuals in need of ADL assistance.

I graduated from college with a diploma in Medical Billing and Coding, earned my Nurse's Aide Certificate. I'm also First Aid/AED certified as well. Graduating from college was an goal I attempted years ago , I went back and succeeded.

I have been working in healthcare since I was 19 years old. I worked at my local hospital for about 12 years and in that time, I learned how to do many different jobs and was always open to learning more. I quickly found that this was what I was meant to do and I was naturally good at it, and it made me feel good to know that I was doing what I was meant to do. I treat people as if they were my own family and try to remember what it would be like to be in their situation. I always listen to what family and loved ones tell me because they know better than me and working together provides the best outcome.
