I strive at caregiving because I am personal with my clients, making my service about them and their needs. I am always looking for ways to improve their lives!

My name is Chelsea. I have worked in nursing homes/ primary care for 10 years. I find myself a very caring, compassionate, patient and understanding person. I try to find the good in every situation. In the last year I took a break from healthcare and took a position in childcare. Somewhat the same as care giving but on the other end of the spectrum. I enjoy creating relationships with my patients and giving them the care they deserve. While working in elderly care I found a majority of the staff was there for the paycheck, I can't say that for myself. I felt important as I became closer with my residents as they felt the comfortable with me as they couldn't with some of the staff. Caring for people makes me feel good because I am making someone feel happy and that is important at their time in life no matter what age, Having to have help is always hard and to have someone that understands , is patient and kind is key in my eyes.

I am deeply committed to treating all of my clients and families with dignity and respect. My goal is to win the trust , and help alleviate any embarrassment or anxiety when needing assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming, or other personal care. I strive to make a difference in the lives of my clients. I am very out going, friendly, honest , and dependable.

I am an experienced, responsible, honest, and motivated caregiver looking for new opportunities to provide companionship and all aspects of personal and emotional care to clients. My skills include bathing, medication management, errands, meal prep, and feeding, organize exercises and outings activities to enhance my client's health and well-being. I am great at being an effective advocate for the best interest of my clients when interacting with healthcare providers and their family members. I also specialize in memory management for clients with severe dementia and provide dignified end-of-life care when needed.

I started by caring for my mom. she had a stroke and cancer. so i went to LNA school to care for her. I also had to move her from her home so i can care for her and my three kids. I like the smile on there face when they see me that alone make me feel like just showung up made there day.my personal gitf is taking care of my mom she have 12 kids out off nine me and one of my brothers took care of her for five years. that i am very proud of.I am a very heart felt person in my family.I help keep the family together by having alot of family get togethers.thats my job. in a family of 12

I love meeting new people. When my grandmother was ill I enjoyed being her caregiver. I went to get my LNA license and started in long term care homes in NH. I enjoy watching my patients smile . I have always been a caregiver, established with a lifetime of nursing experience. I have been a geriatric nurse until I retired in 2003 and since then I have had several home care positions which I especially enjoyed doing. I like the accomplishment of making a persons life better because of what I have been able to do for them. I am an artist, poet (member of the Poetry Society of NH) read often with other poets, do crafts and work a loom. life is never dull. This time of the year I work my gardens and enjoy kayaking and fishing. Life is good.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping people in their time of need, to either just have a simple conversation and keep them company or to help them with there basic needs. I enjoy putting a smile on peoples faces and try to make their day a little better
