She would take me to work with her and let me help with the residents (mainly just talking with them at that age). Once I got older I tried a few different types of jobs, didn't like them, and then tried caregiving and realized it was the work for me. I love it. I get to build connections with the elderly (who I still enjoy talking to as much as I did as a kid), work in a homely environment, and do things I actually enjoy like cooking and cleaning. You can rely on me to be compassionate, attentive, hardworking, and personable with my residents and their family and visitors. I'm also great at keeping schedules (the alarm app is my best friend).

I am a go getter, I enjoy conversation and I enjoy what I do. I believe myself to be a very sympathetic and empathetic individual and that makes me a great caregiver because I can help my client by relating to their issues and reassuring them things will be ok. I am attracted to being a caregiver because I want nothing more than to help people. I believe every person is beautiful and they all share their own unique stories. I love to hear them all. I am proud that I can say I have been doing this work for over seven years and I wouldn't change it for the world. All the people I meet are amazing and wonderful people. I go home every night feeling accomplished that I might have made a difference in somone's day.

I love being a caregiver, because helping people especially elderly is a very rewarding job, someone need to help elderly and that's me, should help them .. Not everyone likes to be s caregiver but for me it's a very rewarding job. I feel good if I can make an elderly patient smile again and especially if they can get back in walking again . I was very proud of myself when a dementia patient of mine was back to her normal situation ( not exactly normal) but giving the medications on time and feeding or reminding her or him that it's time to eat will help a lot in getting better. Time management for the daily activities of the patient will help a lot in getting better for the patient well being . I considered myself as one of the best caregiver at my job now, and will continue to give my good care to the elderly until I retire .

I became a caregiver because of a unique opprotunity to take the nursing assistant course for free with the chance to be hired on by the company afterwards. I've always liked interacting with people and been good at sales but sales wasn't what I liked doing. The idea of selling something I don't want never appiesed me, however I found that my sales experience came in handy being a cna because then I could get the residents to agree to the care they needed. That felt rewarding for me because something positive came from it rather then another piece of product in someones home. I'm very proud of the fact that I was able to step into this field with no prior experience and do well. Well enough even to turn the facilities second state inspection around to a passing grade. I enjoy working as much as I do being at home with my family and am always willing to put in extra time when asked.

I believe that I will make an excellent caregiver beacuse I love to help people who are in need of help specially if they can't do everything for themselves. I am graduate student of Medical Assistance and I know i am fully prepared to do as I was taught by my instructors.

I've been in the healthcare field for 8+ years doing CNA, home health and respite. I've had patients with dementia, Alzheimer's, TBI's and children with developmental and physical disabilities. I do my best and communicate a lot with my patients so they can get the need they want. I'm always on time and stick with a regular routine to make it easier for my patient and myself.

My name is Janise Studley i was a caregiver for about 6 years , i gave it a little rest because i had hurt my shoulder,in doing other jobs such as warehouse , quality control, etc. (other then caregiving) i realized that i missed working for my seniors and that caregiving was where i belonged because i was good at it and looked at it other then "just a job". i am will be 27 years old on september 17 , i am currently enrolled in the western nevada community college to persue my career in criminal justice as a juvienile probation officer. i currently live in carson city nv , and am looking for a lucky employer to be able to hire me , a reliable , very honest, hard worker .
