Personality traits that help me be a great caregiver include compassion, integrity, reliability, and my outgoing nature. I enjoy being with people and learning from them. I also really enjoy helping people. What attracted me to being a caregiver is the same thing that attracted me to being an EMT - helping people. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is learning from people that are more experienced than I. Also, I do enjoy helping people and spending time with them. A personal achievement that I am proud of is my kids. I have 3 kids, ages 22, 10, and about to turn 3. A boy and 2 girls. They are my world. Another achievement I am proud of is being a firefighter/ EMT. My dad was a firefighter/EMT and I was very proud to follow in his footsteps. He was my hero. One more thing I am proud of, that is a work in progress, is that I am currently learning how to code. I am almost done learning Python. I am very proud of that.

I had a gentleman I cared for that had trouble moving his feet and was extremely tall...I asked him if he liked to dance and he responded that he loved to...I said let me lead and he was able to get around with my help so much better. ...proud moment of problem solving.
