I have been an STNA/caregiver for 19 years! I have cared for patients in nursing facilities, hospitals, and their homes. I lead with love and enjoy serving seniors in any way that they may need.

What makes me a great caregiver is I am loving, passionate and have compassion for people and their needs. I became a caregiver because I was given the opportunity to take care of my grandmother. She was my world and when she was diagnosed with liver cancer, I found my perfect world falling apart. I took care of my grandmother up until the end, and I found it very rewarding. Loving her in such a way has given me a special love for people. I love people, I love being of service to others, and do whatever I can to assist. What I like about being a caregiver is being able to give back and be of service to those who need assistance. I love being a caregiver because I meet all kinds of people from all walks of life. I am able to be in their presence and hear the wisdom that is shared. I am proud of finally achieving my bachelor degree after raising two children as a single parent. I did not allow obstacles to hold me hostage from my goals and dreams.

Iam a fun ,loving,and have a great personality,I first work for a place called my love of care in quincy,ohio n I love working with other people and I have a son with lay syndrome and this type of work teaches me alot of stuff I never new n I just love learning new things n ways how to interact with other people. And I have achieved my certificate on CPR doing this type ofnwork also.

I became a caregiver because its my passion to take care of others. The best part of being a caregiver is that making sure the person that can't take of themselves are well taken care. The personal achievement is when they thank you so much for coming and so happy you are there to take of them. I am 28 years old. I am have never been married and I don't have any kids. Taking care of other has always been my passion. I have been a caregiver about 4 years. I am being doing home health care for 3 years. I am reliable and have excellent transportation. I grew up an a family of EMT/Firefighters/Caregivers, so it was pretty much in my blood so to speak. I enjoy helping others. I enjoy being able to help others with things that are difficult now for them to do, and the smile it brings to their face, it gives me a sense of comfort knowing I made their day better. A personal achievement I am proud of is that I am currently working FT, going to school, and am the mom of a 4 year old little boy, and have maintained fantastic grades, and made the deans list. I enjoy keeping myself busy, spending time with my family, and getting to know new people, especially the families of the people I take care of.
