I came to be in the healthcare field from my mom who was an RN and taking care of some of my immediate family and always been a caretaker. Since my 3+ years as an CNA I researched and met people on how I could bring the certification I received to others so traveled across the USA from NY to Idaho as an CNA in long term care facilities, also with private home care, because I want to give back to the Elderly. The experience of working with families, has given me a better perspective on life and the ability to handle any and all personalities, different levels of care, medical diagnosis. My professionalism is graceful and consistent with respect to whom I care for and their families.

I love helping the elderly I've been doing it since I was 16. That is my passion to help someone. I can say that every client or patient loved and liked me a lot. I do a good job go above and beyond. I treat the elderly like that was one of my grandparents.

I have 8 years of experience working with individuals with special needs and various levels of needs. I enjoy helping people and giving them a sense of accomplishment. I am proud that I was able to raise my special needs daughter alone and she is successful and holds a job in the community while living in a group home.

What makes me a good caregiver I care for EVERYONE like family. I love seeing my clients smile & making sure that they are satisfied & happy. What makes me love my job is that I can be helpful & help the senior citizens walk, get groceries etc. Also I'm a big hugger so seeing my clients happy & they give me hugs pushes me & motivate me to come to work!

I'm 23 years old, I have 2 beautiful children. I have a passion for being a caregiver. I have been in this field for about 6 years now. I'm caring, loving and I enjoy making clients happy, helping them and getting to know them. What attracted me to be a caregiver was my mom and my grandmother. I watched my mom be a caregiver and I helped my grandmother a lot up until she passed away. I'm proud of going through college while I was pregnant with my son and getting my degree all while working 2 jobs.

I'm a 52 year old male, with 5+yrs as an STNA. I've taken care of male, and female clients who all usually asked for me specifically. So i do respectfully apply for jobs that may prefer females. Only because i've VERY successfully cared for both M/F. This type of work is very specific, and requires dilligence 100% of the time. I enjoy this work for many reasons, but the biggest is to provide comfort, safety, and make my clients, your loved ones feel like they have my trust, and i'll earn theirs.That happens out of the utmost respect, kindness, patience, and highest level of care. Sometimes clients, residents just want to talk to you if you have positive energy, they detect that from caregivers. I'm not gonna write 1,000 words to describe how much i love this field of work. It's work that some can do, some can't, i'm outgoing, funny, happy and very approchable, and sociall. I have a 26yr old daughter, and a 19yr old son those are pretty much my friends, my life, my greatest blessing, achievements. Due to the fact they're really great people. I also take care of my mother who,s gonna be 80 in april, she has a benigne ping pong size brain tumor that has her 80% blind. My fathers 75 and has major arthritis but i kept them in their home, it's a sacrafice that i do happily. My kids do come to care for my parents when i'm working.
