I am a natural nurturing person. I I decided at a very young age that I wanted to be a nurse or a doctor. I had a grandmother that suffered from Alzheimer's disease for 13 years. Majority of the time that she was sick I cared for her. I always knew I needed to get into the health field because I saw how important it is to have a support system. When you have someone in your family who can no longer take care of themselves it seems to have a ripple effect with everyone surrounding them. At some point we could no longer take care of my grandmother in the house so we had to hire a home health aide and in doing so I really grew to appreciate the nature of the job. You become an extended family member you grow great bonds with your clients or patients and their familes. I love being an aide.

Hello! I owned & operated a boutique home care agency serving seniors for fifteen years prior to selling the agency and moving to SC with my husband and two boys a couple years ago. I absolutely love spending time with seniors. I enjoy providing companionship and listening to their stories. I love to cook! I am able to assist with all activities of daily living including light housekeeping, cooking, personal care, transportation, medication, exercise... I have extensive training/experience working with dementia as well as many other conditions. I am honest, compassionate, reliable and hardworking. My passion for helping others really started when my brother was diagnosed with Mercer and caused him to be paralyzed from the chest down. I also have a grandma with Alzheimer's and have helped my mother care for her. I love to spend time with people and enjoy helping others.

I have always enjoyed taking care of people and helping every way that I can. I took care of my nanny for 4 years before she passed and that is what initially made me become a care giver. I believe the most essential asset that I have is I know what my patients experience and relate to they way they feel. I was in a bad car wreck 3 years ago, and I was disabled and could not walk for a year. I was put into a nursing home for rehabilitation and was not able to do anything for mysel .

I always have love helping people I believe that was my calling in life.when I was 5 my uncle had asked me what I wanted to b when I grew up I said I wanted to go in the nursing field .So i started out babysitting when I was 13 yrs old n then in high school I took up Certified nursing assistant n I loved it so I been doing nursing assistant for over 30 yrs I love to see the smile on there face or the sparkle in there eyes when they knows somebody cares enough to help them feel there tasked that they can't do.Thanks Denise

I took care of both of my grandfathers then I went on and got my CNA certification but then I decided to start as a home health aide. I love being with people and doing for them . I then became a medical technician at a.c.t. pharmacy in portsmouth, va. 2006. 2009 i graduated from everest college of chesapeake, va with a massage therapy degree. I have worked in hospitals, nursing homes, and in home care. I enjoy taking care those in need. I'm dependable, honest, hardworking, patient, fun loving, and caring. I recently moved back to south carolina and board of nursing has proof of my paper work but needed transcript from National Healthcare of greenwood, when i contacted them they said they didn't keep with records over 10yrs.
