I am patiencent and understanding and most of all I care about your loved one. I became a PCA long ago because I wanted to leave an impact on my clients. My name is MacKenzie-Paige Dare Harrison. I am 23 years old and currently a stay at home mother of a four year old. I believe that there is a certain kind of person that has to care for others that are in need. My passion for and love to help others is what i think makes me a great caregiver. I knew from a very young age that I wanted to help others. It was dream or my God given purpose to be a caregiver. I love seeing the smiling faces of people when you interact and get to know them. Knowing that you are sharing the love and compassionate ways of the Lord Jesus Christ is what makes me enjoy being a caregiver. I do it because whoever I am taking care of is my family and I want everyone to be shown the kindness and love that comes with a caregiver that truly cares about the people. I am very compassionate, caring, hands on. My mom was a caregiver and she was the epitome of what a great was can be. I enjoy helping others, I am a registered medication aide and I am proud of this achievement.

Able to provide hands-on care to patients by administering medications, managing intravenous lines, observing and monitoring patients' conditions, maintaining records and communicating with family as well as members of the healthcare team. Feed, bathe and dress patients. Take patient vital signs. Serve meals, make beds and keep rooms clean. Set up medical equipment and assist with some medical procedures. Answer calls for help and observe changes in a patient's condition or behavior.

I graduated high school in 2008 and received my Certified Nursing assistance license. I became a care giver because I have a passion for helping others and seeing them smile. I am a very outgoing person who is always smiling. I have a 14 month old daughter who is my world, so you can say i have lots of patients. I treat all of my clients as if they were family. I give them lots of respect and help them in any way that they may need. I do not treat them as if they were babies because most of them have lived a much longer life than I have. In my six years of experience I have worked with stroke patients, Alzheimer, dementia, g-tubes, mental disorders, fall risk patients, and more.

Being a Caregiver is more than just a job to me. I have a Huge Heart filled with love and Compassion. I have been a CNA for many years. I believe you treat someone the way you would want to be treated. With Dignity and Respect.
