I've been in the medical field for over 22 years now. I've worked in all aspects from working with developmentally disabled to medically fragile children. I was born into the medical field as I had parents that were also caregivers, advocates, case managers , adult care home owners. It's what I know and what I love to do. To me it's not a job it's what I do and what i was meant to do in life.

Assist with walking and light exercise. Plan and prepare meals, followed by clean-up. Monitor food expiration dates, make future meals. Make beds and change linens, as needed. Light housekeeping to include dusting and vacuuming. Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming. Laundry and ironing. Checking blood pressure/sugar levels.

I became a caregiver because I would like to give back to my community and help those that are in need in anyway shape or form. Ive been a caregiver for 4+ years and I wouldn't trade it for the world. (Its a hobby of mine ).

I give my all when it comes to my patients and their care. I will always give my patients my 100% with care and making sure their needs are met either by patient care, and or advocating for patients that are not able to address their needs. I will treat each patient with respect and dignity and treat each one as an individual. Caring for my patients is as important as if they were my own family member.
