i had gained so much experience in this field since i 15 years old I would take care of my elderly grandmother she had a slipped disk in her back and was on the oxygen tank I learned to cook for her I clean her house I help her get up and get out the house I try and do some exercise with her, it really drew my attention on to be a caregiver because I love helping people and like being around the elderly. Some people don't have the patience I enjoy making them smile and helping them with what they need. The most proud moment is when my grandma cried and said no one would take the time out of their day to help her an she's happy she can finally get up out the house and walk again. I like making them feel good about themselves and are happy to see you go by an just appreciate everything you do. I am currently going to school for a medical assistant and learned alot of taking vitals, learning different medications, giving shots, and alot of different types of disorders, disabilities, and things that can go wrong with giving the wrong medication.
