Hello, My name is Heidi and I am an outgoing, kind, patient and compassionate person pursuing a registered nursing degree and a new career as a nurse. I am currently finishing up clinicals for my nursing assistant program and will be a licensed CNA as of January of 2018. After my first day of clinicals in an assisted living facility, I knew I would be caring for the elderly and disabled while working my way through school. The work is so rewarding and I feel that I can make a difference in people's lives. I truly love getting to know my patients and find that they can be the most genuine, caring and interesting people I have ever met. I am well educated and hold a Bachelors of Science in Biology, an Associates degree in Business Administration, and I have recently completed the classroom portion of a CNA program as well as all of my pre-requisites to apply to RN programs this spring. Besides my clinical experience, I am a mother and the daughter of two wonderful parents in their mid 70's. I chose CareLinx for a more personalized caregiving experience and to be able to give the care that patients deserve.
