About Susan

I specialize helping you care for your mom at home. And in complete holistic Hospice care from first diagnosis to end of life. Calm, supportive, knowledgable, and fun, I provide respite you can count on. I love to work for families who have been caring for an aging parent (often for years) and now at the end are afraid they will not be able to fulfill a promise to let a loved one die at home. Occasionally I provide care when a child is dying (my specialty). And I work well with elderly ladies who need daily routine care and companionship. I'm a CNA, medical technician, certified grief coach and have trained in palliative and hospice work both in Oregon and California. About you as I don't work for everyone: You need relief and support now as well as your loved one. You need a little TLC and a good picture of the road ahead. You understand that a lot of strangers through your home is undesirable at this time. You want someone special who will be discreet, gentle and knowledgeable to the end. Extra special: I am an excellent cook, massage therapist, light worker and serene font of wisdom. I will work s often as you need until we are close to the end when gradually I will work round the clock to ensure a peaceful passing and blessed experience for all. I have also been called upon to help with end of life celebration, deep grief support and coaching, and to provide general backup for a families wishing to care for a loved one at home. I have also cared for a a parent by sitting bedside in a facility. My job as I see it is to be there when you can't. References gladly given on request
