I became a care giver because i really wanted to help families. I remember my grandmother suffering from diabetes when I was younger and the family had such a time delegating who should go and when, it was horrible she lost her foot because everyone had to work and no attention was really given., just the quick Hello's and Goodbyes, it was sad, but now I understand what all families go through and when i lost my mom three years ago I was working for Vising Nurses and Hospice care out of Santa Barbara and the volunteers were here with my mom when I had to work. I sympathize with families and have the utmost respect. I know wholeheartedly all that they endure emotionally mentally and physically.
