My personality traits are that I'm outgoing, an extrovert, talkative, and friendly. I am attracted to caregiving because my sister and father both died from cancer, and I was a part of their caregiving, and when I saw the way they were cared for by professionals it made me want to help someone else. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to listen to and be a companion to someone that is lonely, or has little interaction with others. I love to make people laugh, sing to them, be silly with them, or just brush their hair until the are restful. I personal achievement I am proud of is that I put my personal life on hold to come live with my Mother who has dementia so she would not be alone and would have proper care.
