I took out time of to raise my kids, and now that they are older I have the time to return to my career. In December 2014, I finished another State Mandated Certified Nursing Care program at Victor Valley College and I passed both written and Clinical skills exams with the State of California with a 94% ( A+) I have a 4.1 grade average, and I have experience in Home health Care, Med/Surg, post operative, Acute, and Sub-acute Care, Home Health Care, Specialized Care such as Nephrology, Amputee Care, Transport, Home Dialysis, and Home Chemo Therapies,, Trach care, Pediatrics- including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral palsy) , Case Management, ICU NICU, burn unit, and much more. I am familar with apects of the medical office, Charting, Patient Care records, I have up to date computer skills,10-key, Microsoft Works, Microsoft Office, and I type 50 words per minute. I have a 16 year career in nursing, and I am well versed in the subtleties of nursing care, including those pertaining to patient mental health, such as causes of depression, life changing events ( death of a spouse, having to leave the famlly home) and support systems such as outings, nutrition, and holistic treatments.
