I have been caregiving for over 20 years and I find it very rewarding. I believe it is incredibly important work and treat it as such. I am also a CA Certified Massage Therapist and have been for approximately 10 years. I have a passion for the healing arts and am always learning more about healthcare in general. I'm very patient and kind. I'm honest and trustworthy. I'm observant, focused and detail oriented. I have an excellent work ethic and am punctual and responsible. I try to anticipate the needs of the person I care for and communicate clearly with family members to update them on daily activities. I like to clean and organize. I've been trained sanitation practices, nutrition, human anatomy, physiology and pathology. I'm physically strong and practise good body mechanics. I have many caregiving skills and have been around patients with a variety of needs. My greatest achievement, that I am grateful for, was the short time I was able to give care to my father in his last stage of life.
