I have compassion for the elderly and their pain. To have the ability to make their lives more enjoyable.I enjoy be of service to the elderly. My heart guides me when I'm caregiving. I do everything in my power for improvement of health.

I like helping people without making them feel bad for needing help. I don't judge people and I try to always be respectful. I have noticed in the last few years caregivers are more rude, lazy and take advantage of the people they care for and I am totally disgusted with it. I just want to be someone that the person and or their family can trust and be comfortable with. I enjoy knowing that I can help make things easier for someone. I am working on being the person I used to be before my husband passed away. I completely fell apart. This is the first step to getting the old me back.

One of my favorite things about caregiving is being able to provide my patients with an honest and loving friend that they can feel comfortable talking to. It brings me so much joy to be able to help people in any way that I can and put a smile on their face.

I first became a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2001 after my first child was born. I then realized the joy I had while caring for individuals and learned to love what I did. The one on one care with individuals is the best, especially when I see their faces light up when I walk into their room. It makes me feel and know without a shadow of a doubt that I am doing my job correctly. I've learned to have patience and my compassion and empathy have increased tremendously. I have continued my knowledge with an associates in Medical Assisting. My next goal is to continue my education and receive my BSN. I currently am not working and stay at home with. I have four kids now and a loving fiance that supports my dreams in becoming a nurse.

What makes me a Great Caregiver is that I genuinely love Elders, I am organized, a Great Listener, Champion, understanding, Peaceful , Good Cook, and Clean. What attracted me to becoming a Caregiver came to me naturally. I always looked after my grandparents and my Father. That's when I discovered that I loved to create a atmosphere of comfort during difficult times. I am proud to be called a Caregiver.

I'm a very empathetic, loving person. I love being around people and I absolutely love helping people. I'm a quick learner, a hard worker, and am reliable. I've always wanted to work in the healthcare field, and I plan on taking college courses while making enough money to support my husband and me. I hope to graduate with several different medical certificates within the next year or two. I've gone through some really hard things in my life, and because of them, I'm able to be more empathetic and understanding of others' difficulties. I've prevented over 10 attempted suicides and pride myself on being someone people can count on to help them when they need it the most.

There is diabetes and other illnesses that made me pursuit this field, because I care for them as I care for others.
